A friend told me that webcourses doesn't delete your old assignments from previous semesters. Is that true, if so how do I do that? I'm taking "Enterprise Computing" this semester and I have a java program to write, then wondering if I could get back my programs from when I took "OOP".

If it's from last semester it is gone unless you've got a goony professor who doesn't close old courses because they're afraid of (insert retarded paranoid shit here)
That being said there is no way for YOU to get it, although you might be able to get it from said goony prof.

Whether Webcourses saves it or not, student will not get access to it either way. You're better off saving all your assignments, notes, and etc in Dropbox or another form.
Your best bet is to visit any teacher who taught OOP because they sometimes upload their solutions onto their website.
Arup has a bunch of sample java programs.
