Help
Sponsors are an important factor in expanding our club and organizing successful LANs. As everyone can see, its been a while since we went looking for new sponsors, and we want to change that. So on that note, LANKnights needs your help. We want to create a list of companies we can contact to supplement the sponsors we already have. They can be giant hardware corporations, small game developers, or anything in between. Variety is key, and we hope that the LANKnights community can come up with some good ideas.

That's pretty much what the EA guy said to me, especially that nothing monetary could come from him. He said that EA won't sponsor our club, but would sponsor individual events where exclusively EA games were played. At best he'd give posters, shirts, and maybe a madden game.

we can still talk to Nos, we just need some sort of list of the things we could do in return for sponsorship. This should go for all possible sponsors. I suggest this be brought up at our next staff meeting

1. We expect A. Prize Support or B. Monetary Donation and possibly C. Discounted materials
2. We provide A. Sponsorship on our site and shirt AND B. Exclusive use of items at our events (i.e. Nos is the drink of Lanknights) AND C. Possible sales opportunities and inclusion at larger events (anime+lanknights stuff/ UCF Nights/ etc.) ((Also we'd need to check out C. with OSI club rules and regs. Been awhile since I've read them.))
This is the bare bones i would expect if I were going to sponsor the club as a business and might be a good way to frame any cold calls we do to companies. Just a suggestion/thought/helpful hand
