I own a 20 man minecraft server and it's been a little over half a week and it's been awesome.

I have 8 people who are on everyday plus 2 friends extra who come on once in a blue moon.

That mean I still have 10 slots left on this server.

There is one admin atm, that's just me. We haven't been doing much plugins and I haven't given anyone OP yet. Everything in the game is pure Minecraft so far.

But that doesn't mean we won't have plugins later. I have to do research on server plugins and see which ones are wanted and are ok.

The server is awesome because I'm in in obviously.

You might want to include some information. Such as... survival or creative... where is the server.. what is hosted on... who runs it... how many moderator/admins... what plugins etc...

Also how did you determine your server was "awesome", I think our standards of quality might vary greatly.

I guess you could hope people will take a chance, request access, join, see they don't like it, and never return.

Nah it's cool. Btw, I don't think the guys at Bukkit have updated their build yet for the official 1.0 release, so don't expect many mods to release soon.

Turn the server into creative mode (or make specific users able to do things in creative mode) and they receive unlimited resources and can also fly. Server game mode can be changed by changing the server.properties file and editing the line that says 'gamemode' (at least I think that is it) and changing it to 1.
