Hey, I found the site you are looking for: http://craigslist.com

Also.. here are the responses from reddit where he spammed also if anyone is interested:

Here are my thoughts:
http://www.reddit.co...old_for/c2rzula

"Post about all local events, stuff for sale, and events about other clubs and organizations."

Did I do something wrong? I'm not sure why you consider this spamming by simply posting on multiple websites. I've had the system listed on CL for about 3 weeks now, and still not hits - time to branch out. Didn't mean to strike a nerve.

Very rude. Lanknights is better than that.

Anyways clown

Go ahead and post here, and good luck with your sale! If you still have it by next Saturday, rsvp to our LAN event and come show it off!

If one were to build the pc now, it would cost about ~$710, plus whatever the cost of the wireless mouse/keyboard and headset. Just for reference.

No it isn't. Also you must forgive Oen for being cynical about a guy who made an account just to sell us his awesome 'puter.

Well there are lot of questionable aspects to this sale. If you read my original post, he posted it 24 hours beforehand on reddit. One guy, presumably his friend, said it was a great deal. He went on to explain he paid 100 dollars for Windows 7. Which to me implies he isn't a student, or he would have known he could have gotten it cheaper at the UCF Computer Store. Also the fact he states it has been on Craigslist 3 weeks leads me to believe there is a reason no one has bought. Even though it is only 2 months old, I would not call it "mint". You can watch a lot of porn in that amount of time, but more importantly you can easily overheat components beyond their recommended limits.

I guess I could have stated my opinions in a friendly manner, but it appears to me he simply came here because it didn't sell on craigslist and he couldn't convince anyone on reddit to buy it. I was trying to save our users sometime, as it has been stated people on here are willing to help you build your own system with new components.

Without him being a regular user, I am leery at putting money down on a system from someone I don't know.

That is my opinion. While the pricing is decent for what you get, I wouldn't feel comfortable.

I can understand your concerns much more easily when you voice them in this manner, as opposed to just flaming my posts.
I am in fact a UCF student. The reason I paid $100 for Windows 7 is that I was living with my parents this past summer 3 hours away from campus. I was impatient and wanted my OS as quickly as I could get my hands on it, and at the time I had the cash to blow.

Now, I'm not quite sure what your fascination with me watching porn is but the only thing this system has been used for is gaming and web browsing (no porn sites). Furthermore, the CPU temp. never exceeded 48 degrees Celsius, even during the most intense gaming done on this rig. I assure you, this system is in *mint condition*.

I stated in my first response to you that I did in fact come to LANKnights because it didn't sell on Craigslist; this is no secret. After three weeks of no luck, I decided to advertise on other sites/forums.

If you really wanted to save your users some time, you would help promote this sale instead of deterring people from it due to assumptions. As many have mentioned, it is a good mid-range system at a very fair price. I am more than willing to show it off in person to anyone interested.

I hope this clears up any misunderstandings you may have.
