Dude. That was sarcastic retard type.

The fact that people actually type as horribly as that makes me want to vomit.

I got my B.S. in Comp Sci. For those of you who are not far into the program, a word of advice: if you dislike math or like it but aren't very good at it, leave CS! You probably won't make it past the foundation exam anyway. Furthermore, if you like to program and eventually want to do some big-league chew system software design, leave CS! Switch to computer engineering. You get a much more diverse coding experience from what I've heard from other CS --> CE students. CS is good if you want to do a lot of coding developing algorithms, creating low level systems like OS's, and want to analyze code. CS is not the best major for becoming a software engineer. It's not to say you can't become a sw eng, many people do, it's just that I think you will have had more exposure to things you will be doing for a living (requirements, SDDs, code and test, etc.) I know I wish I did.

For all you IT majors........weak....... just kidding. A lot of the former-CS majors who got stopped up by the foundation exam went there. Business focus is probably a good idea in IT. In fact, everyone should get more exposure to business. If you want to make good money doing software, minor in accounting or finance. Then you can write software for a company that handles money and you can make serious dough. Also, if you take any business classes, you will probably see 1000000% more women in that one class than any other major classes you take at UCF, even if you lived to be 200....sigh....

Business majors: OMGWTFSTFU. If you can learn how to program, you might actually be better off than software people who learn about business. Not to mention you will learn a new respect for the guys who have to motivate themselves to come to class for reasons other than the girls.

To other science majors (Bio/Physics/Eng) - get used to working for the man. How many startups do you see for creating bridges, designing cures for cancer, or proving why gravity is what it is?

To all other majors - Why are you at UCF?

These views are based on my 2.5 year stint at UCF. Take them as you want.
