Hello,
My name is Mathew Cross and I am doing an enography on the LAN gamers. I was hoping to get information about your goals as a group and if you meet regularly or not. Also may I have permision to come sit in on your meetings and games. It seems, as far as I can tell, that the meetings are open to all, but I would like confirmation just to be sure.

Thank you.

Well, I can't speak for everyone, but my main goal in LANKnights is to hang out with like-minded nincompoops, play video games with said nincompoops, and try not to get entirely destroyed at said games by said nincompoops.

We don't meet on a regular basis, say every Thursday at 8:00 PM at whatever room in the Student Union, but we do meet several times throughout the year.

Our next meeting is this Saturday, the 1st, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 AM in the Student Union. Admission is free for UCF students. Bring your computer!

My goal for going to LANKnights is to run a financial dictatorship.

I have survived 6 LANKnights presidents so far. Ran for 5 elections with unanimous victories. Someone stop me.

My goal was for members of the club to grow... They have learned about agility and quick reflexes, like dodging a chair. They have learned how to handle delicate and tense situations, like handling immature screaming children. They have learned to make friends, by not banning everyone insight. In short, I feel like the rage stops here. Most of these lessons are also passed on to newer members through what they are able to see on our forums, and experience at LANs.

Ok guys, this has gone one just a little too much. Can we please try to give constructive feedback to matthew?

In regards to your question about coming to our events, they are free to all UCF students. We have one coming up this Saturday in the Pegasus Ballroom if you want to drop by and hang out for awhile :D
