Hey everybody, sorry for the short notice, but we were able to get a room reserved to have a small club meeting and social night. We will give you guys a small update and then we are going to watch a movie(the movie is TBA), be sure to come out!

Minutes:

Meeting called at 8:45p by President Bryce Ruppel

1. LAN Feedback
Bryce and Adrian talked about addressing issues. There will now be feedback sessions at events with Staff available. We encouraged more variety of games at events. We went over our Mumble and Minecraft servers, and we'd like to see more use out of it for club members. We'll also be looking into special concerns with shoutcasting at LANs.

2. Website Upcoming Changes
Derek went over upcoming features for the website. We'll be adding a Clan page that details contact info and Now Playing info for networking with different games. We'll be looking into the possibility of seating reservations with support for parties and zones.

3. Moderating the Forum
Please remember the UCF Golden Rule applies to website, including shoutbox. If you feel the need to rant/rave/ridicule/reason/repeal etc., we have Off Topic/Anything goes.

4. Saturday LAN is nuuuuuts
So be there. It will be the biggest LAN of the semester, and in the immortal words of Aaron123 "If you only go to one LAN this semester, make it this one."

5. Questions/Comments?
Remember to register for the DoW2 Tourney! Also, we will be weidling Febreeze at the LAN, so remember to keep good Hygiene. As far as t-shirts, we wait for memberships to fill out before ordering. Personalization depends on price vendors give us, if it's not cheap enough, we'll consider charging an extra fee for it. From now on, we'll be publishing meeting minutes (previously there were to only be published upon request). We will also be announcing our new Quartermaster sometime soon.

I think we should watch "Serbian Film." It has a lot to say of social dynamics in the 21st century and the emergence of new wave morality. Truly an excellent film.

well usually i'd go with bf3... HOWEVER, there seems to be a good chance that what happens at the meeting will affect the LAN that bf3 beta will be played at.. choose your poison so to speak (bf3 then ALL ALONEEEE, or bf3 at LAN... still possibly ALL ALONEEE haha jk)

awesome, i'll try to be there. I have Animespot viewingnights/meetings on fridays 7:30 to midnight, but I can not go next week since they happen weekly anyway

Maybe a compromise could be reached. If something as great and artistic as A Serbian Film is ruled out, maybe we could watch Boku No Pico. I'm sure it wouldn't be the majority's first anime; it would, however, be the first time that they'd be moved by an anime followed by close introspection.
