if I were to minor in IT as a CS major how much do you think it would add to my plate(class-wise)?

absolutely nothing. If anything take some IT upper-electives, specifically the networking and system administrative ones, as those are the ones you really want.

Also if you want to minor in anything, I'd suggest taking a look at the SCAN minor for CS students. It's something that can really add to your resume.

Not worth it I would say. It is too similar to your main degree.

I'm a CS major, though I never actually take the time to do programming outside of school. Haven't really done much in the way in programming in the last 2 years or so, and am kind of just starting on the computer classes here (slowly).
