Hey guys, I know this is a tech forum, but I figured I should try here first before I go with my initial plans.
I rescued a kitten that was stuck behind dry wall when I was down in Miami this weekend. I brought him up with me because I want to take care of it until someone can take him. I refuse to take him to a shelter because once I do, I'm afraid they'll immediately put him down and I won't be able to live with myself.
It's a male, which looks to be 3-4 weeks old. It looks like he will start running around in another week, as he's already walking but still wobbly. Eyes and ears are open. He has a injury on one of his feet, but it doesn't seem serious nor infected, it's just dry. He's really active. I don't see him lethargic or signs of anything serious, just really hungry. He's playful when he wants to be, and he really bites and claws at you, but not to the point where you'll get hurt. I believe he's got some personality.
Please keep in mind that he still needs nurturing, which means he requires a lot of attention(feeding, helping him poop, etc). I'm doing the best I can and ability to keep him healthy as possible.
I have over a gallon of litter, a litter box, a small bowl, two bottles, kitten formula, some wet food when he can start taking in food, and some toys, to get started. Please consider being his new home or let others know about this.
I also highly suggest/recommend/seriously taking him to see a vet for a check-up to see if he has anything. There's a nice animal clinic down East Colonial that have affordable rates for their services(I think a check-up was $30 and the first exam is free). I would do it, but I'm going to be really busy this week and I won't have the time to do it. Also, I had to convince the boyfriend to even bringing it up here because I didn't want to leave it with my mom, since I think she'll do the shelter route and because he doesn't want to keep it. I told him if he let me take it back home that it'll have a new home by the end of the week.
Thank you for your time and sorry for a lengthy post.

I would take it right now if Towers would let me have a cat. Good luck.

I would if I was in the position to raise a cat. I'll definitely ask around, though.

Hi guys, updatin'
The little one went home with a nice lady today. Apparently he's only going to be here for just a couple more days and is moving to New York with her.
