Anyway, the meeting will be in room 220 in the Student Union at 9 PM on the 7th, which is Thursday. If you can't make it, please be sure to send your ballot entry to admin@lanknights.net that way your vote will count.
Be sure to check your email as well; we just sent out a newsletter for you guys that contains this information, as well as news about our upcoming GammaLAN on the 16th. Be sure to RSVP here http://www.lanknights.net/event.

so we have been told, however we've gotten no information about the ballot itself. They can't exactly send them out until everyone has signed up to run, though

The proper way to do voting is to have the one candidate, and none of the above. None of the above should be included actually in all of the voting.
The idea is that if no one is qualified, then people can vote for none. Normally this would happen if they do not want to give the position to someone that isn't qualified, just because no one else ran for it.
Also, most groups follow Robert's Rules of Order. That states for elections a certain percentage has to be present to represent the majority opinion of the group.
Then again.. we might as well elect a hamster named "The Rage Machine" since proper procedure has never been LK's strong suit.

We don't actually follow Robert's Rules of Order (not in the Constitution), however, we do have procedure in place for voting that will be followed.

Meh cross site scripting. I'm personally wondering if he actually administers their website and therefore offers no risk to tying our club to something that could have serious consequences.

It's just a cosmetic hack, he's not actually modifying anything in the background so it's ok. If anything he's warning them people can actually do this on the website.

Its reflective XSS, so it doesn't actually exist anywhere on their servers. The only time you will ever see that page is when you click on that link. Its also why I didn't attempt to make the page very convincing, because its supposed to be funny not phunny.
UCF like many other universities (including USF) use the same "College Publishing" Platform which are all vulnerable to this type of XSS.
I reported it to USF and they were kinda 'meh', which is same reaction I would expect from most schools.
