By the way, hopefully Bukkit will finally get their build finished for 1.1 and have more than 3 days before the new patch, so I can get something running for mods.

To be honest, there aren't too many mods that I use for people to have access to; it's mostly for me to organize things and make sure only certain people can do certain things (permissions mod so I can create more groups, disable Creepers and TNT, etc etc). Unfortunately, Bukkit is slow to update now that final release is here, and the 1.0 release for Bukkit came out 3 days before 1.1 released, so not much time to update that.

Have you tried canary? Seems like their devs are a little more serious about updates and mod compatibility..

Hey IB... you wouldn't happen to have a copy of the 1.8 map saved somewhere would you? I'm talking about the one that we were going to build the city with he pegusus center, but never really did. I'm working on an adventure map and I was hoping to recover a few structures from that map.

(don't know if this is the best place to ask, i don't know if this forum has a pm system on it)

Need help real bad. I have a 9 year old daughter, totally into minecraft. She want minecraft comes alive. I have watched the videos, copied the loading directions, tried to get the mod loader, got it, put it in, then the put in the minecraft jar files, did it, and the put in the mods file stuff, did it, but does not work and her my main world, where she first spawned someting, is blank, blank screen. Any one know what I may have done wrong? I got the minecraft 1.1 stuff, but.... is there a place where I could bring a computer with minecraft on it, on campus and have someone show me how to do this?
