DESKTOP PC + Wii (in box with all cables, slightly used but like-new condition) + 23" Monitor + Assorted Games = $600.00.

Hi Guys!

First, it's a pleasure to meet you all - I know it's a bit lame to spend my first post selling something, but I will write an introduction and link to it once I'm done with this thread.

I'm selling my rig, to make some extra cash quickly, as I am an out-of-state student here at UCF and tuition is extremely high-- much higher than I anticipated. I am also including some goodies as well to "spice up" the deal...so here's the specs:

Like-New ASUS Model: CG1330-07 DESKTOP PC (With 23" LED Monitor!)

Processor: AMD Phenom X6 (Six-Core) @ 2.6 GHz

OS: Windows 7 (Fresh Install, legit CD key on the side of the desktop tower)

Memory: 8GB RAM (DDR3)

Hard Drive: 1 TB @ 7200 RPM

Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 5750 (1024 MB Dedicated Video Memory)

Optical Drive: 8x DVD+R DL; 8x DVD-R DL; 16x8x16 DVD+RW; 16x6x16 DVD-RW; 5x DVD-RAM; 48x32x48 CD-RW

Comes with SAMSUNG SyncMaster XL2370 Full HD (1080p) Widescreen LED Monitor ( HDMI to DVI cable included).

Link to monitor review: http://reviews.cnet....7-33683882.html

The reason I'm including the monitor is two-fold: first, I don't need it any more, and second, for some reason, it used to turn off randomly. It's not a big deal, you just unplug it and plug it back in, but it's clearly not 100% working condition. It has no physical damage; I probably should have returned it for this reason but did not.

I am throwing in the Wii for free because I bought it for my ex-girlfriend over a year ago and she was nice enough to return it to me when we broke up; I haven't used it since and it's been in the box in my closet. It's not new, but it works fine -- I don't think she used it much if at all.

Games Included:

Super Mario Bros Wii

Super Mario Kart Wii (2 Controllers + 2 Steering Wheels)

----------------------------------------------

I'm asking $600 for everything. I won't sell them separately, so please don't ask. You basically pay for the tower and get the Wii, monitor, and games.

Cash only and on-campus only (for your safety and for mine). If you want to verify that the computer boots up or whatever, that's fine, we can find a power outlet.

Send an e-mail with serious offers to timothyp@knights.ucf.edu

Cheers!

Edit: I just realized Fallout: New Vegas is steam game and cannot be transferred, so I removed it from the list.

I might know someone who was wanting to put together a rig like this. I'll get back to you if she's interested.

First, welcome to the club!

Second, you should probably edit the processor information. that is a Phenom II X6, not an Athlon X6; that doesn't exist. Other than that the price for that is actually very nice; graphics can be upgraded no problem, assuming the power supply is up to the task (which you should include in the listing [include the wattage of the power supply as well as the manufacturer]).

Good luck with sale. I tried selling my old gaming rig here and all they had to trade was fertilizer...

Fertilizer is the most valuable commodity on the planet next to oil.

I believe you're going to need to change the PSU if you intend to upgrade the graphics; the current card that I have installed is a "budget" card but actually has a decent clock speed and plenty of memory. Unless you're into Crysis or had your FPS displayed, I'm not sure if you could tell the difference between this and an upgraded card playing many of the steam games played here.

You'd be surprised. I had a 5770 for about a year and once I upgraded to a 1920x1080 monitor, I could see a noticeable different in FPS, even in games like TF2 and CSS.

Anyway, overall the system is a nice one, especially once the graphics card and PSU are upgraded. Good luck with the sale (and fertilizer isn't the greatest currency here XD).

Aight, so she is interested. I'll get back to you when she lets me know if she can swing the cash or not.

Great. Just shoot me an e-mail @ timothyp@knights.ucf.edu (fastest) or reply here if she is / you are interested.

If no sale is made, I would be interested in the Wii separately, but best of luck!

If you want to go in with my friend Oen, I'm almost 100% sure she doesn't want it as she already has one.

Price is still the same ($600) with or without the Wii, unless someone wants the Wii for $100.00, then I'll sell the rest for $500. Like I said in the OP, I want to keep all of the things together. B)

Is she still interested? If she is, we can work out a price without the Wii.

Actually seems her bank account is bust. Sorry.
