Nah, just go ahead and show up. There is no fee for attending events - just for membership privileges (which include the ability to vote in club elections; a spiffy LANKnights t-shirt; and priority when RSVPing for events).

Mods for a game I don't have (sad face), and I imagine since one of the guy's nicks is Gamma, "Make Gamma Rage" isn't an actual game.

Edit: Also, for $5, you can get Half-Life 2 Deathmatch, which includes the Source SDK required to install Source mods. http://store.steampowered.com/app/320/
