I know a lot of people are up in arms about no LAN play for SC2, but it seems like we can get a free license to LAN it at our events:
http://us.battle.net/en/tournament/

It appears if you aren't a big sponsor or have a giant tournament with a lot of money involved, they won't charge you for a license code that allows more than the allotted connections.

According to Blizzard:

Q: Are there any fees associated with acquiring a StarCraft II tournament license?

A: Tournament licenses are generally free. To protect our players, we may require that organizers adhere to additional rules and regulations if the organizer charges entry fees and/or intends to pay out large cash prizes.

Q: How do I get a StarCraft II tournament license?

A: Fill out the tournament form located here. ( http://us.battle.net...munity/esports/ ) Most general tournament requests will be approved instantly. Additional review time may be required before the approval of a license request, depending on the scope of the tournament and the number of incoming requests. We appreciate your patience!

Already taken care of. I've talked to a few blizzard employees about getting a written multiple event license. Right now we're just waiting on the official forms and go-ahead. :)
