Good day everyone, I am Justin and I'm a freshman at this here UCF. I like long walks along the battlefield, and I enjoy watching the lifeblood spill out of my enemies.
... beautifully rendered in 3D.

I've played many THE GAME, but the list would be too long, so I really like:
Halo, AoE, Dungeon Keeper, CS:S, Quake 3, Half Life, older Metroids,
SSBM (not the new one,) SC2 and Minecraft.

TL:DR- I'm awesome, You're awesome, lets kill each other over the web right now.

Already better than CMS and you posted in the right place the first time. Welcome to the Club! I'm sure you'll find people willing to play any of those games. We play a lot of SC2 and TF2 now, haven't really touched CS:S in awhile but still fun nonetheless. Hope to see ya at the next LAN!

SON OF A BITCH
GODDAMMIT

Welcome to the club, though! As said, we're mostly playing TF2, SC2, and the occasional HL mod. Look up Savage XR, it pops up on games lists every now and then.

Hey, I'm Zach. I'm a summer freshy (note: a step ahead of the fall freshies). I like video games, obviously. My favorites are L4D2, COD MW1, UT2004. Not too big on TF2, I tried it but dropped it because I didn't really have anyone to play with and the internet pub games could get very annoying. Had it on a 3-day Steam trial and well, didn't feel motivated to spend money I didn't have!

I also make a rather mediocre web comic (look at my sig or click here). I always introduce it that way because I think it's mediocre. I know a few people who think it's awesome. I digress.

I'm willing to get games for a LAN and get proficient, I'm a rather fast learner. :D Bring on the carnage. Best way to learn is the hard way, I always say.

EDIT: Also, I just lost the game. Bastard. :P

Nice to have you on board. I like your most recent comic, btw =p
We usually play L4D2 and TF2 at almost every LAN, so if having people to play with is the deciding factor, I'd say it's worth it. Sometimes we'll hit up some UT2004, but COD is a bit rare. If you're into RTS games get Starcraft 2 ASAP as we have a bunch of people who are extremely devoted to that.

Hey, I'm James, and I'm a mac. Yes really. I play Starcraft 2, Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike: Source, soon L4D2 (once lazy valve releases it). I of course have other mac games but those are the best multiplayer ones. I also play on Xbox 360 and PS3 (tag= magicjames92 on both, add me and tell me you go to ucf). On those I play pretty much everything from Halo, to COD, to Crackdown 2, to Red Dead Redemption, to...well you get it. As I'm a UCF noob, I'm looking for fellow UCF gamers to hang out and play games with, so let me know if you want to meet up sometime. Looking forward to the meeting and party next week, see ya all there!

By the way, to any new comers to the group, I'd highly recommend browsing the Steam store for the free HL2 mods Dystopia and Neotokyo. They usually get played at most LAN's, are not too big in size, and are free.

Dystopia can be downloaded directly from the Steam store; if anybody is interested in reading up on it, the website is here: http://www.dystopia-game.com/ It's basically a class-based cyberpunk FPS.

Neotokyo is not currently available from the Steam store; however, the client (and patches) can be downloaded from the site, which is here: http://neotokyohq.com/ NT is probably best described as a mix of Ghost in the Shell and CounterStrike (think CS set in a futuristic Japan with transhumanist and cyberpunk elements).

Don't forget home to the most PR incompetent mod dev team you've ever seen. "Hey guys, lets put our WIP screens for our next release in a random thread on our forums rather than make a news post on the front page of our website that we haven't updated since December 2009! I mean, we wouldn't want people who come by the site to think we're actually working on anything, right?"

But that's sort of threadjacking, welcome new people, don't mind brain, he's just trolling. Usually. Maybe. He's also a real doctor, so you should listen to him anyway.

Welcome guyz. Mac=fail but we wont go there right now. TF2 is usually the most played game here so I would recommend every member of the club own it. Very RARELY console games are played, and its basically just for Guitar Hero/Rock Band. My Steam ID is ibfreeekout so message me on there sometime and we'll play.

'Sup, I'm Sofia. I'm a UCF nub. Transferred from Miami Dade College and majoring in Game Design~

I don't play much games, usually L4D2 every now and then, but I'm more of a MMO gamer. I do have TF2, though I completely suck at it, lol.

I'm a very average gamer. I'm not pro (which I like to be), I do make mistakes and try to learn from them.
Happy to be here and see you on Friday!

Heyo, I'm Chris a junior here at UCF. Just got a new gaming laptop so I figured I needed to use it, hence why I'm here. Never really been a huge PC gamer outside of Everquest, WoW, and Age of Empires II, but wanted to get back in to it. Couple things about me; I like turtles, and video games. See yall at the LAN parties.
