Pretty much what the topic says. I'm pretty sure most of you guys will be back in town by then, so I'm seeing if there's any interest either Friday or Sunday, or early afternoon/late night Saturday, the last two probably preferable. If not this weekend if not everyone's going to be around yet, maybe the following one? Can figure out which theater works for everyone once some people respond.

So definitely doing this Sunday now, for anyone coming into the thread now. Just need to start figuring out when and where. Thoughts? Making this a new post to make sure everyone sees it.

Ok, this Sunday, either 7:40 at Oviedo Mall, or 7:50 at Waterford Lakes. Reply with what works best for you guys.

Well, I'm not too big a fan of Michael Cera, but if I can give my input for the time, make it Friday or Sunday. Saturday we have Dark Heresy.

that's why I was saying early or late Saturday as a possibility, to work around that, but the winner so far seems to be Sunday, so for now lets assume Sunday.

I really don't get the Micheal Cera hate, but as I understand he's not Micheal Cera-ish for the entire movie.

Well, it's not that I hate Michael Cera. I just see too much of myself in his characters, and I'm not optimistic enough to think I can get his movie endings.

Ah, well, it's just that really the only negative stuff I've heard about the movie is from people who haven't seen it swearing they refuse to because of some inexplicable hate of Micheal Cera.

I don't care what day it is, I'll go see it. I get back on Friday, so anytime Saturday or Sunday is fine with me.

would go, but I've already seen it and movies are expensive. It's good, though. Michael Cera isn't bad in this, actually. He doesn't vary too much from his other stuff, but it's enough of a difference.

So I think it's pretty much decided at this point to plan for Sunday. Thoughts on where/when exactly?

Case in point on the Cera hate, this fark thread. On the first page of 50 posts alone there are 8 people who specifically state they refuse to see the movie because of Micheal Cera, some even fans of the comic who'd be there to see it otherwise. Another 4-5 state they were considering not seeing it solely because of him but did anyway and enjoyed it. The Cera hate just builds from there.

I really don't get it. Has he really been in that many movies to generate so much hate?

I don't understand the hate of Cera himself, but I can understand how people dislike how he's the same character for almost every role he does. People get bored of it, some get annoyed that others like him, and some are afraid that he won't do a good job as Scott Pilgrim who are fans of the comics. His acting fits the movie pretty well, imo.

He does a fantastic job as SP. Don't let the hate and the frequency with which he plays as Marty Sue get to you. Also confirm for movie. Who can I bum a ride off of?

Ok, so I went and looked myself, If we're going to go post 7 on Sunday so gamma can make it, we have two options. 7:40 at Oviedo Mall, and 7:50 at Waterford. Which of those works better for everyone?

7:50 at Waterford it is, barring someone having major issues with it, make sure you're there a little early.
