Ok, guys. Stug helped me put togeather an inexpensive computer a few months back. Here it is on NewEgg: http://secure.newegg...Number=13323952

Being a few months ago I was wondering if any of you knew of any new deals that have cropped up for computer parts that have equal or better performance at a better price. I only need parts on the list: Case, PSU, RAM, MB, Processor.

If there's a part that's better and only a little bit more expensive let me know, but I'm on a very limited budget.

QFT. Save up, the market's hopefully going to change in a couple months and all the much better stuff will be more around your price range.

I would say that certainly looks a lot better. Then again from my point of view, anything better than an Athlon 64 5200+ is good lol

Decided over the summer I wanted to build a desktop machine. Quickly realized I didn't know much about what I was doing. Haven't spent anything yet. Can anyone point me in the right direction for this?

Make sure you're buying some $1000 SSD's to go with that 6Gb/s interface, otherwise you'll be putting around 2.5Gb/s with crappy mainstream harddrives.

Got a wishlist put together. I can't figure out how to get a workable link out of it (it's been made public, maybe just give it time and I'll be able to find it on the public lists?).

OS: I know I'm going with Win7 64 bit (looking at Home right now). How does OEM work?

I've never done this, I really have no clue what I'm doing here.

What's the name of the Public Wishlist? Maybe I can find it for you and link it here.
