yeah so we seem to have themed lans quite a bit ( hell the one coming up is a classics lan) so why not just vote on the theme, and then vote on games that fit that theme.... if they are varied enough so as to not have the same lan over and over the games with time-slots will always be different.
just make a thread with a poll (using gypped's coefficient system so it always isnt the same theme :P) for the theme for the upcoming lan ( like say classics, hl2 mods, rts lan, no theme etc.)

and once the results from that are in, make a thread for nominations( i think the nominations for the games can be streamlined by having staff come up with a proposed ballot and then people can add a game to it cause staff are people too and can have an epic game slip their mind) for the games list of games that fit the theme that won then make a poll from the nominations ( again using gypped's coefficient system cause it rocks :D ).

the top X number of games gets on the games list. there democracy and we get to have more poll threads cause there isnt enough of those :P

That list was the best list and also we tried dota once.
books have no atmosphere at all there just paper lol

the soundtrack is basically not very important in a game. its pretty good if you got it but it doesnt mean anything if you dont got good graphics and gameplay.

if you can feel the atmosphere from huffing a book then i suggest you go to a psychatrist

Nothing is wrong with HoN, is there a rule that we can only play a game 2 times at a LAN or something? I understand the want and need for diversity but if we want to play a certain game I think we have a right to play that game as members. You are not forced to play with us, you can bring your own friends and groups and play your own games. I don't understand the logic.

Just to give you a head's up - you have no idea what you are talking about. Don't revive dead threads, especially not to share your uninformed opinion.

Can you really call it reviving a thread when its only halfway down the first page?

It was three months from the last post. Yes. We call it dead.

I like HoN. I think it is a very accessible game that many can enjoy, and don't see a problem with it being on the latest LAN game list. In fact, I am glad it is on there, as it provides a breath of fresh air compared to the previous LANs.
