Web Server on ResNet

Next year I will be living on campus which mean I will have to deal with all their silly network rules. I have noticed that despite the fact that routers are not allowed many still have them. I was wondering if anyone knew if it is posible to run a web server on campus. It would just be for a small blog that would not be getting a lot of traffic.
Does anybody know what ports they block? If it would be posible to use a router and have it go to the web server and my own computer? If it would be posible to use one of those services that can keep track of dynamic IP adress changes? Also would it be easy to get caught?
If anybody has and the answers to the above questions or has any other information on whether this is posible and how to implement it that would be awesome.
Thanks for any help!

On the serial yeah you ain't running a webserver on campus. They tend to monitor their ports very anally and while you might be able to force through an open port they will very quickly begin using MAC address blocking on your machine.

Even if you could, I'm sure they'd see it, cause there would be unprovoked inbound connections.
In way of a router, I'm sure a few people do it, but they are pretty good at finding people with them. If you keep your MAC address the same, that's a dead giveaway right off the bat.
Depending on how much traffic and exactly what you are hosting, there are plenty of places you can get hosting for it, either free or very cheap.

I believe campus is rolling away from all those external IPs to private ones for that same security sake. IDK if ResNet is getting the same change that I know College of Business is getting, but they are swapping us to all private IPs and I would expect the same within the next year for ResNet too. That would monsterkill any hope of hosting that webserv.
