Apparently, Digital Media students get a copy of Windows 7 through MSDN Academic Alliance for free.

I'm trying to register but I don't know my Student Identifier. I've tried my PID, NIP, PID without first letter, number on UCF ID and none of them work. Any suggestions?

I already have Windows 7 but I need the 64 bit edition for a rig I just put together.

Typically classes shut them off at end of semesters. Should plan more better next time. Also your would get an email from MSDN about you being registered.

At any rate... I have a 32 bit Windows 7 disc. If I install it on a computer running a 64 bit processor, what will happen?

You'll find yourself running Windows 7.

You won't be able to use more than 4GB of RAM (well, you can, but the extra RAM just isn't utilized), but other than maybe the OS being a bit slower than its x64 variant, no issues (outside of server processors, there aren't any pure x64 processors atm- they're all hybrid 64-bit/32-bit processors and Windows 7 x64 likewise is a hybrid OS rather than a full 64-bit OS).
