So in the newest update to the PS3 firmware they are adding Facebook integration. This is something that XBL users have had for a while now. However, I'm not sure if the XBL/Facebook integration allows users to automatically post marketplace purchase information directly to their Facebook feed.

Well, that's part of what they're adding to the PS3 integration. Along with trophy and game event information, you can set it to post everything you purchase onto your Facebook page.

Are they serious? Somehow, this makes me think that more than a few Facebook and PSN accounts are going to get hacked.

thoughts?

As with the 360, I think this is stupid and pointless. I'm glad my 360 was banned from Live, so I won't be forced to download this update.

I am not interested in linking my PS3 with my facebook. Why would people want to know what I purchased through my Playstation? Why would I want them to know?
