so i'm getting a wierd sort of problem when trying to play tf2

basically for about the first 30 seconds it will play normal but then my ping will shoot up to ~900 and be unplayable. i wont dc but it certainly is not possible to play.

i dont know if it's a problem with my resnet but it's a new problem, hasnt happened until the last couple days. it doesnt come and go it just stays.

any ideas?

try running a trace route to the server's IP when the problem occurs?

tracert doesnt seem to work at all

i get a time out on every hop....
