And they perform better for the price. Whats the difference in the architecture? Procs are plug and play if the proc and the mobo are compatible socket wise.

The difference in architecture is Intel's is ineffecient due to them having a monopoly for so long and getting lazy, which is why they have been pushing more ghz = more power, which most of us here know they don't.

AMDs are much more efficient than intel hence...why they are slower yet do the same thing
