Floor hockey season is coming around again. The deadline for signing up is February 6th. The sooner we sign up the better likelihood that we can get the day we want. So it's time to post your name, date of birth and preferred day of play. We are going to be moving to rec league this year since we weren't quite up to snuff at comp. We made huge progress last year and have a decent chance of tearing it up in rec.

And guys please post your info as I specified. I know I can find your info somwhere from previous threads but it will be much easier if you can just post it here. And remember I need to know what day you guys want our games to be.

I dont know about the prefered day of play, i have classes mon-thur 9:00am being the earliest on Thursday, and all of them end at 5:45pm.

What happens next is that I sign us up. Then I go to the captain's meeting and we start practicing once they put the boards and goals up in the rec center.

Full gear (certified helmets / masks, full pads), full size sticks (no metal shafts), and of course your ice skates. The skates actually work really well on the hardwood floor.

The unsarcastic answer, though less funny, is that you don't need to bring your own equipment. You aren't allowed to use it in games. You can use the rec center's equipment for practices and games.

I went to the captain's meeting today. We will playing Men's Rec on Sunday nights sometime between 6pm and midnight. Our actual schedule won't be posted until Feb. 14. The hockey rink in the rec center won't be set up for practice until Feb. 19. Let me know what days you guys would be available for practices.
