He generously donated two very nice 24 port 3com 10/100 (Layer 3) switches to the club for our LAN events.
We now have 4x 10/100 switches of very good quality so in the future we may now hold the larger events that we have dreamed about for some time now.

Yes, Thanks Sizors.
Fall should be excellent. Hercules and Nike have the dates we chose for the first two events, but they haven't even started thinking about the fall calendar yet so they will let us know when they start preparing events for fall if we can have the dates we asked for or not. After that all we have to do is figure out what we are doing in November whether that be another AV events, a Liveoak event, or whatever.
Reminds self to talk to Manny about on campus server at work tomorrow. Oh, just so you guys know I work at Gigabits now so come visit me sometime :)
