Okay, which is better mouse and keyboard or the old MS Sidewinder Joystick?

Mouse, definately. Really it's user preference, but I can do everything with a mouse. It's VERY convienent as you move between vehicles and the first person view.

I fly helicopters exclusively with the mouse, airplanes I can't fly - so I don't go there.
