There are mobile chips and integrated. Some mobos have the chip integrated where they use the computer RAM (64mb nvidia pos etc.) and some are just a mobile chip soddered onto the mobo with their own ram(your 9600 and my 9800) etc. Like my 9800 Mobile in my lappy is soddered onto the board, but is in no way integrated. It is essentially an X800 with 12 pipelines and no AGP interface board/cooling.

Is it just me, or is everyone here selling their desktop for a laptop? My hardware probably costs around $500 now (maybe less), and easily outpeforms any "gaming" laptop on the market. I'm also getting higher benchmarks than most athlon 64 rigs. Selling a desktop for a laptop for gaming is the stupidest thing you could do.

Well, I was building a desktop for college, water cooling and all, and they said I need a laptop for college...So I got them to buy it. I have...one part left. Anyone want to buy a 650 watt power supply?

Show me a link of them hitting 6k in 3dmark2005. If it exists, it will cost over $2000. That's 4-6 times the price for a 20% increase in performance with little (if any) room for upgrading.

I was thinking of getting some sort of Gaming Laptop...after all they are portable for LAN parties...instead of lugging not only the box, but the monitor as well. ANd , of course less heavy.
